pain on right side (at back)

so, I keep getting a really sharp (like a needle being stuck in) pain on my lower right side. I have also had it on the left, though not as frequently. It lasts 30seconds to 5 minutes.

I have also been needing to pee a lot, and feel a bit fluey.

could it be an infection, or am I just over guessing (usual)?

Could be water infection or something else. See a doctor.

See a Dr asap. I have regular severe kidney infections that can make me incredibly unwell if I don't catch them early enough. You've got the classic symptoms. GP as soon as they open. In the meantime, paracetamol and a ridiculous amount of fluids to flush your system.
