Persistent Oral Thrush

Hi
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem? I've had oral thrush for around 4 months now... really struggling to get rid of it!
I didn't realise at first but it was discovered when I went to the GP about a cough. Apparently, it's likely I got it from my steroid inhaler Sad.
I was initially given Nyastatin and then Daktarin which didn't work ( that was 2 visits to the GP) with no luck. On the third visit another GP gave me 150mg Diflucan as a one-off treatment which was worse than useless. She also ordered me a battery of blood tests which were all normal.
In desperation, I went to see a private GP earlier this month who prescribed 50mg fluconazole daily for 30 days. However, I'm 14 days in and no improvement really. I have sore broken skin on the roof of my mouth, scratchy throat and a yucky taste in my mouth.
I have been very run down due to a big bereavement and have almost permanently had some sort of cough/cold/bug. Also, I work long hours.

Have tried natural yoghurt, coconut oil, Apple cider vinegar and very good quality probiotics.

Am pulling my hair out. Has anyone come out the other side? I will be going back to private GP if necessary as NHS docs didn't seem to know what to do.

Many thanks

Have you had a swab to confirm you have oral thrush? Silent reflux (gerd) can also display similar symptoms.
