Pretty much as stated - have been diagnosed fibroids recently, am waiting to see the consultant, so in the mean time, the GP gave me some norethisterone and some tranexamic acid. As my periods' starting date has been all over the shop, my period this month appeared out of the blue, so I immediately started the norethisterone and the TA. The bleeding pretty much turned to a black smear straight away and then nothing, so I took the TA for 4 days and stopped (as the packet said), but have carried on with the NT.
Since last night though, I've started developing a temp, been feeling slightly sick and have had some pain in the lower abdomen and back (like period pain). Anything to worry about, do you think?
I am also anaemic, and ran out of iron tablets on Friday, so have been waiting over the weekend to get a repeat prescription, so maybe that's not helping? 
I feel like delaying my period for a month is just going to mean I get an almighty motherfucker next month. I just feel like I'm fighting against my body's need to bleed all the time. Just wondered if there were any fellow fibroiders out there who've had this?
