Uti self test

I get UTIs relatively regularly - used to be tonsillitis that I got but now it’s UTIs.

Last time I went to the GP three times over the course of six months before they eventually diagnosed an infection - before that it didn’t show up, although it was increasingly painful and uncomfortable. When I got antibiotics it cleared up in a week.

The GP suggested I get a self test kit so I know when to come in and get antibiotics but I just went to Boots and they don’t have them and don’t know where I can get one. They have vaginal infection tests but not UTIs. I Googled and they do exist but does anyone know anywhere that sells them on the high street? Or if online only can anyone recommend a brand?

You can get them on amazon

A company called Sweet Cures sells them.
They also sell a product called waterfall d-mannose which seemed to help prevent recurrent utis in me. (But I'm not advocating the product and I'm not a doctor or scientist. It did seem to break the cycle for me though).
Perhaps worth a look?
