Side effects to canesten

I'm 13 weeks post partum and had a number of episode of thrush TMI !
I was given canesten cream and pessary. Within seconds it burned awfully to the point it was intolerable the next day I had multiple blisters. I worried and went to GUM it is not herpes. They are small blisters that aren't too painful but look awful.
Has anyone had this kind of reaction to canesten??

Get a second opinion as that really does sound like Herpes. Outbreaks often begin with thrush in women too.

Did they take a blood sample and test it for Herpes virus?

Swabs and bloods all came back negative. I've never had even a cold sore and been with husband 8 years. 100% trust he hasn't been with anyone else.

I get a burning sensation when I use canesten, usually only lasts 10 mins, so it is possible you are having some kind of reaction to the fungicide
