Has anybody used Push doctor?

Hi! Just wondering if people have used push doctor and how they found it? I used it once but just to get a new inhaler in a hurry. What I'm wondering is, is it easier to get them to prescribe antibiotics than your regular GP?
I'm not a big fan of antibiotics btw but find my GP insists on multiple visits before they'll give them, which is frustrating if I'm ill with something like tonsillitis and still trying to work and care for children.
Just wondering if push doctor would be an option if used sensibly/sparingly?

I've wondered about this. Not used it myself so am watching to see any replies. Getting an appointment with my GP is akin to a lottery win (" oh we've nothing this month etc")...

I have used them for similar reasons. Strongly suspected I had a uti which was worsening and called them, lovely guy, phoned straight back, £28 but prescribed antibiotics over the phone and symptoms improved. Would recommend and use again. You do need to download something first. I called late at night 9.30pm and they even tried to find a late night chemist then.

I've used them for antibiotics- they prescribed after a ten minute consultation and I picked them up straight away. They won't prescribe hard core antibiotics though - I had to go to my gp for those (Amoxiclav in my case). They ask whether they can advise your gp of the prescription as well, so you can decide.

I did last year. I’d had a cold, lasting about two months and was at my wits’ end - I didn’t feel ill-ill any more, but had a constantly mucus-y, running nose which was making me cough all night with post-nasal drip. The doctor said I had a sinus infection and prescribed amoxicillin and a steroid nasal spray. If I’d been savvier I could have got the spray from the pharmacist much more cheaply, but together they did the trick and I was so grateful. The GP here is fastest finger first at 8am, then an appointment allocated on the day, which is useless for me as I teach and need to arrange appointments around my timetable unless it’s desperately urgent, which thus wasn’t. I would use again in similar circumstances.

They sound like they were really helpful, I've been wary of contacting them because they can't really examine you can they? I guess they work it out by asking enough questions?

froggy I suppose it would depend on your ailment. I had to show the doctor my tonsils - it’s done on their app which works like FaceTime. Something like a gynae issue would probably be a no!
