Ovarian Cysts

It's currently been two weeks since I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cysts in both ovaries. I've been having trouble with periods for over a year before being sent for a scan. Been sent to have more scans soon. I'm pretty much going out of my mind about having them, I'm not taken it very well. I've started putting on weight after I've worked so hard gettin got off. I'm worried I won't be able to have children. I have not told my perents, only my partner knows. Has any one got any advice of how to deal with it? I just want to chat to someone who or has been in the same boat. I have no idea where to go from here.

I had two ovarian cysts removed 6 months ago via keyhole (one from each ovary). Do you know what type of cysts they are? Some cysts come and go by themselves so its good that you're having another scan to check on them, as they may have shrunk or even dispersed.

The doctors predicted that I'd had my cysts for years and years, but once you know, it does make it all the more scary no matter how long they've been lingering there, so I understand your worry.
However now that they have been found, there should be tests and treatment available depending on what kind you have, so try and think of it as a positive that they've been found.

After 4 months of monitoring mine had grown - hence why they were removed surgically. I had one that was 10cm and one was 2.5cm, both endometrioma (solid cysts).

I had my cysts removed in July and was pregnant one month later.
Feel free to ask me anything or to chat x

I haven't been told what type they are yet. I think my next scan they and I will know more.

Just hope it can all be resolved and made a bit more at ease with it all. It don't help that I don't know much information about them.
