Ovulation Pain? at 43

For the last 9 months I have been getting pain in my lower left pelvis area (never the right). After the first couple of months I realised it was midway through my cycle so I think it could be ovulation pain.

However, I am almost 44 and have never had this before last year, could it be linked to menopause or is it a sign that I am now only ovulating on my left side? It only lasts a couple of days but is quite uncomfortable.

I am the same age and have noticed the exact same. I get brown discharge too.
I mentioned it at my smear test a little while ago and was told it was nothing to worry about.

Thank you, makes me feel better that I'm not the only one. It was strange that is started at this age.

I've always had ov pains but they are getting worse with age. I think my ovaries are working quite hard to push an egg out these days (I'm almost 42). It could be a cyst or something though, so it's probably worth getting checked out as this is new for you.

I get it every month (both sides) and I am 36, I have been having it for the last couple of years. I don't know why, have had a scan etc and shows nothing strange. I also feel nauseaos sometimes around ovulation and get really bloated, i often have to take pain relief because of it. Never had this in my twenties.
