as long as benyline doesn't contain paracetemol (can't remember if it does), then yes you can mix it with calpol

you can also mix Nuerofen with Calpol (administer alternatley eveyr 3 hours if you need to)

Back teeth are big but not a painful as the sharp fr ont teeth and they come through more quickly so hang on in there

Have you tried Medised - contains paracetamol and an antihistamine and so aids restful sleep and dries up the nose a bit. I mixed this happily with Baby Nurofen when things got really bad - although you are not supposed to give the nurofen on an empty stomach. Don't use Medised with other cough meds though as you will double up on antihistamines, he might sleep well though !! Anbesol can't harm - it does contain alcohol tho'

I found that none of the cough/cold medicines really worked with teething coughs/snot which my DD was very prone to, although Tixylix nighttime cold mixture was probably the best of the bunch

HTH - remember - he only has 20 teeth and they will all be through one day!
