Hi I keep getting pains in my face. Does anyone know what it could be? It seems to be in my cheekbones. And a bit of earache.

Sinus trouble.

fatbottomgirl67 · 12/01/2018 22:29

Got to be sinus pain. Bend over and if it gets worse there's your answer.

TheFishInThePot · 12/01/2018 22:30

Sinus or dental issues.

highinthesky · 12/01/2018 22:33

Diagram please.

Then we’ll be able to see if their is any obvious neuralgic component.

highinthesky · 12/01/2018 22:33

^there I mean

Rudgie47 · 12/01/2018 22:37

Teeth, go to the dentist for an xray.

myusernameisnotmyusername · 12/01/2018 23:13

Thanks. I haven't really had a cold though that's why I'm a bit unsure. Although I seem to have a sinus infection every winter I haven't had blocked nose either.

google TMJ, could it be that?

DeathByMascara · 13/01/2018 13:18

How intense is the pain? I thought my trigeminal neuralgia was sinus pain but based on the fact I would happily have clawed my own face off to escape the pain, they diagnosed that instead.

Footle · 13/01/2018 18:05

I thought not TMJ as it seems to be both sides of OP's face.

Hawkmoth · 13/01/2018 18:06

Bruxism?

myusernameisnotmyusername · 13/01/2018 20:11

It's not that bad mascara. That sounds horrible though. It comes and goes but when it's bad it really hurts. I'm wondering if I'm grinding my teeth in my sleep as things at work have been stressful lately.

I do get this strange pain under my jaw when I yawn as well. But had that for years. It's like the jaw locks and swells a bit.

you can have TMJ on both sides of face, most people do.

needtogetfit · 22/01/2018 15:45

Sounds like sinus infection.?

bananagrabber · 22/01/2018 15:48

Sounds like TMJ to me, mine woke me up in agony one night. It went away soon enough though.
