Ive been off work with a virus/flu for 2 weeks, had to see the doctor yesterday due to having fuzzy head, dizzy, ear ache and blured vision. Doctor said she thinks is viral Labrithitas didnt prescribe anything and signed me off for another week. My problem is that im still in probation stage and its a driving job, i need to go back but dont want to put anyone at risk.

I need to let work know today to get cover, what should i do?

Follow the Doctor's advice and stay at home until you are no longer dizzy or have blurred vision. You are not safe to drive. These things unfortunately happen. I hope your work is sympathetic.

If you choose to go against medical advice, it is likely that your insurance would be invalid if you had an accident, let alone the fact that you can't see straight and could hit someone.

I've had labrynthitis, and it's absolutely horrible. Poor you. I ended up having 3 weeks off work.
