Got up on Monday feeling just fine, around 5pm I started to get a headache and by 7pm I had to go to bed as I was sweating and freezing and my head was banging at the back. Had a bit of non urgent D during the night but no V. Some cramping in upper abdomen.

The next day I felt washed out and tired, I mostly slept all day under a fan. Forced plenty of fluids down but nothing in the way of food. Still having none urgent D fairly frequently. Strong painful cramps in upper abdomen. Headache still present but milder.

Day three felt fine when I got up. Fever fully gone. Had breakfast, did a days work (wfh) a light lunch of some chopped fruit, and a small dinner. Mild headache in back of head. Fairly frequent watery BMs

Today I've woken up with headache in the back of my head, strong cramps and having to rush to the loo every 15-30 mins. Sorry for TMI. All I'm passing is watery jelly like stuff that has alternated between brown and yellow. At one point it was a little bit pink but that has gone.

Did some googling and campylobacter /salmonella keep popping up. Has anyone had these symptoms? How long did it take to go away? I know I need to see a gp but I don't know if whatever it is is contagious I don't really want to have to use public transport and spread it.
