My last three haven't really been periods, just a slight red tinge or blob on one day and then nothing.

Is this normal? I didn't think they'd go like that, or is this a sign that they are about to stop?

I don't think there is a 'normal'. There's just what your body decides to do.

As @lljkk says, there is no normal and in my experience nothing is predictable. Please ensure you always carry sanitary protection with you because my periods went from extremely light to extremely heavy with no warning. Hope you escape that one!
