Breast problem

For the last few months I have had what I can only describe as an uncomfortable dull feeling in my right breast, and then sometimes a burning feeling. It is uncomfortable enough for me to notice it when I'm busy. It looks normal, when I feel it there isn't a definite lump, just general lumpiness. I don't know where I am in my cycle as have a mirena coil so don't have periods at all. I keep making GP appointments, and then cancel them as I keep thinking I'm over reacting. I have an appointment for tomorrow morning. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this at all. I'm not breastfeeding and it doesn't feel like mastitis.

Is the general lumpiness in the other breast as well?
I've had the same as you for the past 6 months or so. When I went to see the doctor she said it was likely to be muscle pain. Apparently aches are fairly common and alone are not a sign of anything nasty (quoting my GP). Mine hasn't disappeared so I'm going to go again, but not sure if I'm overreacting either!

I had the same pain and saw gp about it after it didn’t go away. He examined me and referred me, but the scan showed nothing abnormal and was told basically it was one of those things Angry and to take evening primrose oil. This has helped to an extent but the pain is still there at times and it gets me down tbh.

It’s worth a trip to the gp imo.

Definitely see your GP to rule out inflammatory breast cancer.

Thanks Everyone. Saw GP this morning, she thought it was generally lumpy, but not a specific lump. Have been referred to the breast clinic. She thought they were probably just benign cysts.
