Any GPs about pancreatitis again?

Two years ago I had pancreatitis due to gallstones which resulted in a hospital stay and gallbladder removal. So far so good everything has been great snice.

Now the last few days I have had a dull ache and little niggles again but very mild (unlike last time which was horrendous) where my pancreas is.

I have been eating alot of rubbish over christmas could this be the start again? I dont drink much at all had a few glasses of wine over christmas.

Today I have took some painkillers which has helped and am on a strict diet for a little bit in the hope it doesn't start up again.

If its still the same after the weekend will pop the gp.

Is anyone in the know?

Not a GP but a nurse on a ward where we have pancreatitis patients.

Could possibly be a stone in your common bile duct that escaped before your op.

You'd need a scan to check and also bloods would show up anything wrong.

Will give the gp a visit next week at some point. It doesnt feel like gallstone pain though if that makes sense?
