Stomach pain and malabsorption

So I suffer with IBS and usually have quite loose stools except recently over the past few days I've been constipated. I wasn't worried, maybe a change in diet as I've started a new job. Everything was fine until yesterday whilst I was in work, my stomach started making odd bubbly, gurgling sounds. Like I said I suffer with IBS so again I wasn't concerned. As the day progressed, I had stomach pains that became so bad I started feeling nauseous. Fast forward to early hours this morning and I woke up, having to run to the bathroom and I finally managed to pass a stool, it was however joined with quite a bit of liquid and when going to flush the toilet I noticed the water was milky white. I've read that it could be malabsorption of body fats but I was wondering if anyone had anything similar and did they find out what it was? I'd go the doctors but with just starting my job, if I get prescribed something I can't afford the prescription. Any advice would be really helpful
