Calpol after 8 week jabs- what did you do?

I gave the first and second doses - which takes us to beyond 6h post vaccine (I read this is the peak for fever).

I was originally planning to give a further two doses but given his screaming reaction to calpol (worse than vaccines!) I'm reluctant.

I know if he gets a fever I can bring it down with calpol but I was hoping to avoid it altogether - I'll kick myself if he gets it.

So what did you do? Anyone give a couple of doses then stop?

TIA

I was advised to give three doses. One straight after vaccines, then four hour and four hours again. I just followed it as my daughter was very poorly with them.

No advice apart from go with your instincts

Thank you, I gave three doses and he appears to be fine Smile
