thank you everyone who wished us well for ds' operation last week. he is doing very well and we're back home.
all the staff at the evelina children's hospital were amazing. the london underground was a bit of a trial on the way there, with a baby, 3 year old and 5 cases, but londoners are so helpful - i was always offered a seat and people kept rushing to help.
ds was in a state after his op from the aneasthetic - it lasted 2 hours - but was back to normal the next morning, and he's due to have the stent removed on thursday, then hopefully that's it til another scan in a few months.
it's such a relief it's all over
