Just had a mirena fitted and........

Had it fitted Friday, very bad cramps but to be expected.
Saturday and Sunday fine
Monday I was very light-headed, had a few room spinning moments and very tired.
Today very tired, cramping again and as I went for a bath to ease cramps (getting worse despite taking paractamol) noticed a lump on my leg where a blood vessel is.

Thoughts? Related to coil or not?

And yes I know there are many many Mirena threads but not wading through miles of weight gain/fitting pain stories to see if anyone has experienced the sam thing

I would get in touch with GP just to beon safe side.

i had quite bad cramps for days after my mirena.

i would say head spinning and blood vessel not related.

Stomach cramps definately mine went on for about a week and this has been the same for friends too.

Cramping sounds normal - try taking Nurofen or Paracetamol and Codeine. Not come across head spinning or lump as a side effect , could it be you noticed it just because you were looking for something, did you eat/drink/sleep normally over the weekend ?

I had a mirena fitted 4 years ago, I had cramps for about a week afterwards and after that I have to say, it was fantastic, I never had a minute's trouble with it
