Small Lump in my leg........what is it? Hyperchondrial overdrive - HELP

On my leg below my knee (on the outside) is a small lump

I noticed it today & I am not aware of it being there before - but neither am I aware of it not being there (iyswim)

It is hard, smooth and doesn't hurt (though my knee/leg/joint hurts regularily)

So what is it?

I am really stressing as my brother has osteosarcoma when he was 20

He is getting married on Tuesday - so I can't ring him & ask him about it

on the bone??? I have several- no idea what they are but my dad has them as well, and I've had them for years.They can kind of move.

Given your family history I'd get them checked though.

I'm at work until 6 - when the doctors is closed - so I'll have to wait for tomorrow

But I am stressing

Well a nurse said it isn't a bite and it isn't cyst

It is boney and is a growth & I need to see the Dr tomorrow

Well it's a cyst - maybe a ganglion (sp?) cyst & it will goaway by itself - so I got all worked up about nothing...sorry
