Way back in early December one of my children got diarrhea for 2 days. Felt fine otherwise, no vomiting, just frequency and urgency. Then another son got a similar thing a couple of weeks later; a day of a squiffy belly, felt fine, insisted on going to school, fine all day, then farted and followed through on his way home (sorry for tmi!). Then dh and I and a third DC had a day or two of mild stomachs pain and diarrhea over Xmas. The weird thing is, dc1 has now had episodes of diarrhea lasting a couple of days repeatedly, dh and I feel fine but go a couple of days with normal bms then suddenly explosive poop again and DD has started with diarrhea again this evening, but with tummy pain this time. None of us has been sick at all or really felt ill.
Could we be reinfecting each other or might this be a bug that comes and goes for a while?
Anyone else had anything similar?
When do we consult GP?
