Apologies for the length.
I have a congenital heart defect which culminated in an aortic valve replacement 4 years ago. I am now on warfarin for life. I have 2 DC who I had by CS prior to the replacement, they were both relatively high risk pregnancies given my health issues but I had no major issues. The Drs have not said I can’t have anymore children (i am fairly young) but have said that warfarin would have to be changed due to risk of complications.
I was happy with 2 DC and I am however I have started to think that I would like another. I wouldn’t want to do this if I thought my DC would lose their mum obviously but I wondered whether anyone had any experience of this.
