Vitamin D and it’s effect on my menstrual cycle

I started taking 10,000iu of vitamin D3 in October as I’d read about the deficiencies and symptoms and wondered if it would help with my brain fog, insomnia, fatigue etc. Well I’m pleased to say I feel and awful lot better since taking it but it’s had quite an effect on the length of my menstrual cycle as you can see from the attached screenshot.

Is this normal?

No idea about menstrual cycle as I’m on the pill, but how long did it take to feel better?

I started to feel better about 3/4 weeks after taking them daily. I slept better, lost the anxiety that was plaguing me and by joints felt noticeably less painful.

I'm very happy with how I feel on them and the fact my period cycle is now about 5 days longer isn't an issue. Id always had a longer cycle (32/33 days) but gradually it had shortened to around 26/28 days. I thought it was the start of perimenopause (I'm 44) but taking the vit D seem to have reset it.

I started the pill to control awful PMS. My cycles were pretty irregular too, with heavy painful bleeds. I found out my VitD was low after starting the pill, so I wonder if that influenced it. I have reactive anxiety too which I’m trying to deal with - doubt VitD alone will be the cure for that though. Would be wonderful if it was!!
