Hi, I have been battling a case of oral and vaginal (And once anal.) thrush for about 4 weeks now. I've been using Dakarin for my mouth and Canesteen combi for my vagina. It seems to finally getting better. However, for the past few days I have had a new symptom that I've never had before. When I pee it feels like my urethra is stretching. I've looked up cystitis symptoms online and they don't seem to fit. I always need to pee as I have poorly controlled diabetes. Apart from that I have no bladder pain or blood in my urine.
I do have a hysteroscopy and biopsy booked for Friday week as I started having bleeding again after the menopause and a watery discharge. My consultant found something abnormal at my fist check up and wants to probe further. I don't know if this is a complication of this you see.
I know no one can diagnose me but just wondered if anybody had experienced anything similar and could advise if I should speak to my GP or not. (I am loathe to go on antibiotics as funnily enough they give me thrush!)
Thanks for reading.

Do you have a temperature, any lower back pain or lower abdominal pain?

Cystitis is fairly excruciating tbh and feels like you are weeing glass.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Maybe I should 'phone the GP on Tuesday?

I'd phone the GP to ask, no harm. Hope you're feeling better soon! Thanks
