From the age of 16 onwards (now 25) I suffered with severe utis I was up the doctors nearly every week before they just prescribed me a repeat prescription (after all the tests with ultrasound to see if there was a major issue) I was just palmed off in the end.. which is fine. But since becoming pregnant in 2015 with number 1 and giving birth I haven’t had one not even a tinge... just looking to see if having a baby or getting pregnant stopped it all ? Not sure. I’m happy about it don’t get me wrong but wanted to know if there is an explanation x

I am not a medic, but I think there is a logic behind it. AFAIK, uveitis is an autoimmune condition - when pregnant your immunity is lowered as not to reject the baby. So the immune reaction causing uveitis is also lowered.

I looked into autoimmunity a lot as we have an autoimmune condition in the family.

Oops, I think I misread UTI for uveitis, please ignore my post!!
