Bleeding after sex

I’ve posted before about bleeding between periods recently which seems to have now stopped but now I’m getting light spotting after sex and am panicking.

I saw the GP about bleeding between periods and they felt it was nothing to be concerned about especially as I have a copper coil fitted. I’ve also had bloods taken and all hormones etc came back normal.

I’ve booked a Gp apt for the bleeding after sex as I’m worried. The earliest apt I can get is towards the end of January, is this top long a wait or should I try get seen sooner?

Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the cause?
Thanks

Bumping as I've experienced similar. I'm not sure if it's related to my coil as I've also had cramping with the bleeding so maybe it's coincided with my cycle although I don't get periods or my age as I'm 37.

I've just been to the doc today with similar and I've been diagnosed with a cervical ectropian - caused by hormones (bloody hormones)

I’ve just read your thread sillsausage, glad to hear all is ok for you. I’ll def attend my GP apt and hopefully it’s nothing. It’s so worrying though as you are always told any abnormal bleeding should be investigated but my GP completely fobbed me off and told me bleeding between periods can be normal...
I’ll be more persistent this time though

I'm 37 and I really think my hormones are starting to go mental!!

I'm lucky in that I live quite rurally and don't have to wait for gp apps. On the other hand, it almost fuels my health anxiety because it's so easy to go and see my gp and seek reassurance.

It's so difficult to know what's ok and what's not with women's bodies. A viscious circle of worry stress and then comes the physical symptoms. Any time you want to chat just message me xx
