My advice is contrary to earlier info-sitting upright puts more pressure onthe stomach muscle=more sick. I was told by paediatrician that a 40 degree angle! was the best for after a feed, and possibly during (get your protractor out!!)

popsycal · 24/04/2007 14:18

thats what i meant.....sit him up slightly - not right up just at an angle
didnt explain myself very well

sarahblue · 24/04/2007 15:18

thank you for this, I have fed him today kind of tilting myself so he's a better angle and he has been better. Managed to get one feed with him back in his bed and no sick so a fabulous result!
