How is it best to BF DS2 as he has reflux

Hello

Is there a particular way to bf feed a baby with reflux. DS2 has just been diagnosed but dr most unhelpful on this!

try to sit him up slightly when feeding and keeping him sitting up for 10 mins after a feed
stcik some books undert he legs of the top end of his cot

Look aT Association for breastfeeding website. Last issue of magazine had good article on this.Should be online.

My advice is contrary to earlier info-sitting upright puts more pressure onthe stomach muscle=more sick. I was told by paediatrician that a 40 degree angle! was the best for after a feed, and possibly during (get your protractor out!!)

thats what i meant.....sit him up slightly - not right up just at an angle
didnt explain myself very well

thank you for this, I have fed him today kind of tilting myself so he's a better angle and he has been better. Managed to get one feed with him back in his bed and no sick so a fabulous result!
