Can anyone advise me how to go about seeing the notes relating to my childrens postnatal care by the midwife team, and the notes by the H.V / clinic etc?
Is it a long and drawn out process or can I just ask to see our file at anytime when we attend clinic?

don't know where you are, but in Scotland you just have to write to your local NHS healthboard and they will photocopy everything for you and send it to you - sometines charge you £10 or so for photocopying. You can request this info anytime and they are obliged to give it to you. - hope this helps.

Hiya
I've asked for my pregnancy/labour notes to be sent out to me, and still waiting on it.
However, I haven't had to pay for it as I am willing to wait for it longer than the month they offer iyswim
