Lump in throat

I had a bad throat a week ago or so, ever since I've been left with a lump in my throat. It's been making me gag so much

Anxiety can cause that sensation of having a lump in your throat.

You say you're feeling anxious about it, are you worried about other things or just your throat?

I can definitely feel something there though. It's making my breath a bit smelly too.

I'm worried that I'm going to try and cough up phlegm but it turns out to be a lump of throat or something. Dramatic I know.

Would you be worried about the little strings of pink?

Do you think your gp has misdiagnosed you? If so, you could make an appointment with a different GP?

It may be a tonsil stone. In which case you could have the (perverse) pleasure of popping it out — Google for videos!
