Trapped wind in chest and back

Short of sticking my arse in the air, taking windeze/gaviscon/charcoal like water. What else can I do? I take lansoprazole too.

You need to be very, VERY, VERY sure it is trapped wind... speaking as someone who had a heart attack 2 weeks ago. Pain in the chest going through to the back was my main symptom.

Would ring 111 if you are not 100% sure it is trapped wind. Windeze should work within a couple of hours if it is.

sorry to hear that you get it a lot... movement/exercise if you can - is usually recommended, and PREbiotic powders are supposed to help the causes... Bimuno is a good one.

I had this in hospital the day after I had a c-section and it was awful. The Midwife gave me peppermint oil in hot water (just a nice temp to drink) it worked amazing within about 10mins.
