Facewash for teen ?

My dd is 12 and going through puberty. She has had an outbreak of spots on her face and lots of little whiteheads on her forehead. I asked for advice in Boots today but not sure the lady had much idea. Can anyone recommend a decent face wash that would be suitable for her young skin? Thanks

Not the Clearasil stuff. Far too harsh imo.
My daughter used my Dermatologica cleanser (expensive) and Simple moisturizer.

Dermalogica clear start is a great kit for a preteen. A micellar water with cotton pads would be great. And a moisturiser for her skin type.

I searched a lot of threads here and ended up getting these two for my teen:
Simple Spotless Triple Action Facewash and Clearasil Rapid Ultra cleansing Pads. Both in Tesco.
The Cleansing pads are good, but you wouldn't use them every day maybe a couple of times a week. They tingle at first but then it stops after a few minutes, and they do seem to dry up the spots very well. You can also tear them in half if it's only a small area you are doing.

Following as DD13 also has lots of what I would call pimples, rather than spots on her forehead, loads of little bumps that sometimes rupture into spots. She has been using the Simple triple action facewash, which was good to start off with, but now makes no difference to them. I'm hoping it is just hormones and her skin will settle down as she gets older. I was lucky and never really suffered spots, likewise DS16, just the odd whitehead.

Nutrogena grapefruit face wash has been miraculous for ds 15.

When DS had acne the GP said to use 'simple' facewash and prescribed Duac gel. Both of which worked really well.

Thanks all, I'll have a look around now I know what I'm looking for.
