Cant.Stop.Itching!!

My whole body is itching, especially my arms and legs, and its driving me potty! Started mildly early hours of this morning and I took some piriton earlier and it didn't do an awful lot.

Recent back ground: have had 2 water infections in the past 6 weeks and have taken Nitrofurantoin both times. Between each lot had an unsettled stomach (gurgling, windy, burpy) which has now settled into a dull ache at the right upper part of my abdomen just underneath ribs...

So my question could this be an allergy!? Gallstones?! Something to do with my liver?

Any one have any experience of this?

Sounds like liver problems due to the itching but the location of the pain does sound like gallstones, can you see the out of hours gp?

Spoke to 111 who said to go to a pharmacist and to ring back if it gets worse. I feel well other than itching and the stomach ache. So will see how it goes
