Is this normal After a smear test ?

This is my third one. Never had problems before but im cramping like period pains after my smear? Test was 11.30 today

I had my smear last Thursday. And yes, I had some period like cramping for a few hours after. I put it down to the nurse scraping my innards like she was scraping burnt on porridge from the arse of a pan.

I hope this is only a few hours too

Yep - I always took the afternoon off and had strong painkillers - bed rest and hot water bottle

It's usually how I feel after one and some light bleeding
