Dislocated Capitate Bone - treatment?

Had wrist trouble for a while, and someone at work (physio) had a look and says it's a capitate dislocation. They tried to put it back but manipulation didn't work. They said a few sessions with a physio might do it.

Now I've used Dr Google and am a bit worried that I've left it so long. Lots of sources seem to say Surgery is required to fix it, especially if it's been left a while. I've referred myself for physio now but not sure how long it will take to be seen. I saw my GP a month ago and he did bloods and said to go and see a physio if they come back clear.

Has anyone had this before, and if so, could you tell me what fixed it and how long recovery was?

A McTimoney chiropractor fixed mine in one session.

Honestly...isolated carpal bone fractures are very rare and you don’t mention trauma to the wrist. These bones don’t just suddenly pop out. I suggest you go and see someone else.
