Random very heavy period

This month I was panicking slightly that I might be pregnant- very sore boobs and a few other symptoms. Yesterday my period started a day early, which was very weird as it's normally like clockwork. It was heavier than normal and much more painful than normal.

Then today it's really kicked up a notch, especially in the last few hours. I've had to empty my diva cup every 90 mins or so. I just put it back in and blood went everywhere Confused I feel fine apart from being a bit freaked out and having cramps. Normally I empty it every 12 hours and it's not usually full even then.

Should I be doing anything about it or just see how I go? Got a negative pregnancy test three days ago btw.

Thanks for your help!

The standard advice is if you are filling a pad every hour ( or equivalent) then you should seek medical advice.
