Hello, I started antibiotics yesterday after a cold took a turn for the worse over the weekend. I had 2 doses yesterday and 1 today, and I've been feeling better today.
I'm on my period and had diarrhoea anyway before starting the antibiotics - but I've just had it again now badly, and panicked myself senseless googling C. difficile after remembering the warnings on the doxycycline leaflet.
Please can someone tell me off and say that this is just typical period nonsense?
Or should I call the GP to tell them?
