Long...thread sorry

So literally thought I was going in to talk about a cyst under my arm... to be told I have 3 lumps in my breast and being requested for a scan.

I literally am dumbstruck
I had a dream about having a massive lump under my arm like melon size... woke up to find a small lump in my armpit, so thought better go get it checked.

Doctor asked to check breasts while I was here she found 3 lumps ( very little ones ) but noted she noticed them last time I was checked about 3 months ago.

She told me she isn't concerned and not to worry but wants to scan to get a general idea what going on.

Now I'm literally panicking. I don't know how to feel she said not to worry but what else am I going to do.

Im Really not up for telling anyone in RL but have known mumsnetters to be more than comforting.

Can some give me some of your experiences ( no bad ones I've imagined enough of them )

A bit of background in 26 and had a baby 7 months ago so surely could be that too?

Try not to worry too much, my daughter had 3 lumps a few years ago, they were removed, but they they were just cysts
If the Dr isn't too worried and felt them 3 months ago she must have thought they were harmless,or something would have been done then

Sorry forgot to say they were biopsied, but found to be cysts

Motherwell how are you, I hope the scan if you have had it by now turned out to be only cysts

I got my letter through it is on the 22nd so just before Christmas. But I can't complain they really have been quick about it. I told my partner who is being really supportive and has booked the day off.
