Swelling after root canal... is this normal?

Hi all

I had a root canal on Monday after an abscess. It was horribly swollen and painful Monday evening/Tuesday, so I went back Wednesday and she said it was infected so gave me antibiotics. After another two days the swelling has mainly gone and pain is much better, however I still have a very lopsided smile - my left cheek doesn't move and seems to still have a hard lump high up in it. I don't want to be a pest to the dentist going back if this is normal. Anyone have experience of this please?
