Spots on legs

For the past few weeks I keep finding spots on my legs. They just look like, spots!! (They start off as little red ones, and some get bigger with rather a large amount of white pus in them / turn into whiteheads)

Any idea what these might be / what might be causing them / how to get rid? I did try to talk to a pharmacist about it last week. He just said I has to see GP. It's hard enough getting an appointment at my surgery - I don't want to waste one on spots!!!

Have you recently shaved legs, had them waxed?

No. I can't remember the last time I shaved my legs. Must be 3-4 weeks ago now. There's quite a few spots so I don't want to attempt to shave around them and cut them. I haven't waxed them either.

Ingrowing hairs? Blocked pores. Hope you get it sorted out

I had similar on my arms. Do they squeeze? Mine had pus in and whiteheads (nice) but they were hard and painful to squeeze so I went to the GP and was prescribed zineryt which cleared them up.

I'd say more like blocked Pores than ingrowing hairs. I can't see any hairs in them.
Yes they can squeeze but go manky again afterwards (as in pus comes back)

Sounds as though you may be run down. Do you have other symptoms in other body parts too?

Folliculitis perhaps? Usually caused by staph

Possibly run down. I have a 9 week old that is EBF, plus a 5yr old. Didn't have this when feeding DD1 though.
About 2 weeks ago I had a small lump in under arm, but I think that was an ingrowing hair. No Whitehead to it, just an hard lump under the skin.

I had a really bad sore throat last week, but only for one day. Weird

No i don't think it's molloscum. I've just Googled a pic of that and it doesn't look like what I have. The spots on my legs look more like acne

stan that was what my GP said it was folliculitis. Anyway the zineryt got rid of it. Go to GP OP

18 year old ds had this last year. Dr said it was folliculitis. He prescribed some cream and it disappeared fairly quickly.

Ok thanks all. I was hoping I'd be able to self treat, but I'll try and get a GP appointment sorted out.
