Hiya , looking for some advice , so I had the copper coil fitted nearly 3 years ago . I have regukar period that lasted a bot longer than before but stilk only for about 9 days and they were really heavy . But suddenly I came on my period and it wouldnt stop so went to the doctors after I had been bleeding 7 weeks non stop . She gave me tablets to stop the bleeding temporarly so I could go back in for an examination and swabs. Which happened . My coil is in correctly and the swabs have all come back clear , so next step is a scan and I have started bleeding again and hadnt stopped . I am soo worrird it might be cancer and Its been 2 weeks and im still waitimg for a scan date . Has anyone been through anything similar ??
