Adult bed wetting

I am so embarrassed, mortified, ashamed and scared. Over the past three or four months I have wet the bed 3 times! The first couple of times I actually dreamt I was on the loo, then this morning I woke up wet! Fortunately I had a pad on as I have suffered from leaks for years but never like this.
I have recently been suffering from stress and been diagnosed as type 2 diabetes although I don’t take medication. Is this related, is this gonna be a permanent thing? Thankfully my husband is away at the moment but is there anything I can do, could this be something more serious?

Get your diabetes checked. My friend's DD has Type 1, before she was diagnosed she was soaking the bed (but it turned out to be perspiration) - you may need to tweak your diet/go on medication.

A urinary tract infection can cause wetting issues. A simple urine test at GP can tell.
