My daughter is 3 months old I had an internal pile come out within the first couple of weeks after my cection. Nothing since it went back in within a week. Been really stressed the last 5 weeks as my daughters Dad had been cheating on me & although I forgave him twice. He walked out saying he wants his freedom when she was 6 weeks old. I ended up having an internal pile come back out again. On Thursday. Been using the suppositorys and cream. Normally I can push it back in. But seems to keep coming out. In bed last night it stayed in all night. So thought finally it’s gone. Then today it’s come back out again. Don’t no what to do 😞

Really sorry to hear all you have been going through, what a lot to go through with a young baby. Piles are very common after child birth and stress can make them worse. I would go to the GP if you can. I have had bum problems (piles and fissure) all summer and in the end plucked up the courage to go to GP. It was totally fine, I saw lady doctors and I just went in and talked about it as though I was talking about any other part of my body. Bum examination was not that embarrassing either. Got the treatment and advice and starting to feel better.
If the pile is prolapsed then a GP advice will be best. In the meantime, warm baths. Hope it get treated soon x

Thanks for your reply. It’s literally been so embarrassing. I’m going to go the doctors this morning. I’ve done the sitz baths. When I had one after she was first born. It could be pushed up and stayed there. For some reason this one only stays in for about 5 min then comes back out again I’m hoping the doctor can inject it with something to make it shrink so it can go back inside. I’m so down about everything 😔

Good luck at the doctors. They can refer you for the injections but there maybe something to help in the shorter term to reduce the swelling. Don’t be embarrassed, it’s only because people don’t generally talk about bums (my family do!) that it makes it the unmentionable. I always look at the array of piles treatments in supermarkets and chemists to see how common it must be. All those people keeping quiet. I would tell your doctor all you have been through of late, A sympathetic ear is sometimes needed. Keep us posted on how you get on Flowers

How did you get on at Gp?

Boo46 · 28/11/2017 20:01

Hi hun. They gave me sone ointment and the suppository to go with it. She said I’m lucky that I only have the 1. Have to use the suppository twice a day and the ointment 3 times and if nothing changes within 2 weeks I’ll get referred. X

Really pleased you got the prescription. Hopefully all of that will kick in and you will feel better soon and be able to get on and enjoy your new baby. Take care

I forgot to ask her if I should just leave it out or keep trying to get it back in 😔
