Cluster headaches

Does any one else suffer, I had a terrible one last night and just wanted to die, I'm going back to the doctors next week and I'm going to ask for a spray and oxygen.
I'm not very good at asking for things but I just can't cope with this no more.

I don't but my XP and DD do, they are horrible. DD has been offered injectable or nasal spray triptans for when headaches start, though she has only had one cluster so far. Are you a member of OUCH? Lots of info and support there. Thanks

I'm going to subscribe to ouch as it looks very helpful xx

Have you tried steroids? I have occasionally had a good result with a week’s course of prednisolone at the start of a cluster. The headaches definitely go away on the steroids but sometimes come back once I’ve stopped taking them

I'm on Prednisone for my psoriatic arthritis, at the moment I have constant headache that vary from mildly irritating to wanting to die, and that is no exaggeration.
