What do these test results mean?

The wording is not the same as on the sheet they gave me to explain the results!

You can't tell what they mean unless you have BP, male or female, weight, other illnesses, smoker or non smoker, age, family history, cholesterol is one on a number of risk factors. There are online calculators (we use the ASSIGN score in Scotland) and if your risk comes out at over 10% (risk of cardiovascular event over the next 10 years)the recommendations are for lipid lowering therapy.
I would wait for a consultation to decide if anything needs done.

You may be offered statins, but if, for example, you have a thyroid problem, you;ll need to get that optimised first.

I've had my follow-up, that's when I was given these results. I had thyroid test at the same time as cholesterol, and only got called back for the cholesterol. Follow-up was with an HCA, to discuss diet. I'm pretty sure that the cholesterol is high because of medication I've been on, which had also been turning me into an exhausted zombie.

Qrisk implies that I'm at no more risk than Josie Average, which surprises me, as I'm fat and unfit.
