I'm not sure why but DS is nearly four and never really had a tummy bug...tonight he woke up about 90mins ago and threw up on the bed. He was upset and said his tummy hurt, he's been sick a few more times since then - tries to drink a bit of water, it comes back up, also asked for milk but that too returns...
He seems cheerful now and we're watching a Bug's Life together, but he keeps running to the loo and says his tummy still hurts a bit.
Is there anything I should be giving him, I've never really had to deal with this!
(Preschool syndrome again I think...has already had all the colds this year )

you might be asleep now, but i think you should just make sure he takes water even if it comes back up again, to stop him becoming rehydrated. avoid milk. if its a bug i think it can make it worse. sorry, i dont think i'm much help, but saw no one had answered your post and wanted to tell you what my mum always says!

Ice lollies/ icecubes to suck are good for keeping hydrated when liquids just come straight back up.
