More good news on DH

Just a quick update on DH. He went to the MacMillan unit for his three month check up today and the great news in that his CLL does not seem to be progressing. His levels are still slightly lowere than they were 6 months ago and the consultant think that it is 'Just bumping along'. So great news there.

We also have good news in that dh's brother is a bone marrow match (if we ever need it). No surprise to us as he is so like dh the kids have called him Dad!

So thanks for all the good thoughts, they seem to be helping

Brilliant! When I saw the thread about ds2 having speech problems my first thought was that I hoped it wasn't jimjams; when I saw this title I was just thinking "oh please let this be hmb", and it was . Great news about the bone marrow match too (if slightly dodgy genetics unless face genes are tightly linked to HLA )

I'm really, really pleased for you all.

It was quite interesting to see which brother was the closest match (he has 3 and they were all tested). I realised that any of them could be the closest, but it was interesting to see that the brother who looks most like dh (and is most like in personality) is the closest match. very interesting. Feeling good about it!!!!!!!
