Joint pain after virus

I’m getting over a nasty flu-like virus with chills, sweating, headaches etc but am now left with awful pain in my ankle, wrist, shoulder, and big toe joints. Dr Google suggests it could be reactive arthritis or please god no I’m only 35 rheumatoid arthritis. Has anyone experienced similar? How long did it take to sort itself out? I’m caring for two little ones and getting up and down from the floor is horrendous. Feeling very sorry for myself.

I had something similar. The pain wasn't bad and would jump around; I'd get a pinchy type pain in my knee, then a few seconds later my toe, etc.
It lasted about 6 weeks or so (sorry!) and then just disappeared. I made sure to eat healthy and drank lots of coconut water (seems weird but for some reason it helped?) and it went away.
I think it's because I didn't rest enough when I was ill. I'm betting you didn't either?

Nope. I’ve had two days in bed over the weekend - my eldest had it too so he joined me - but now it’s business as usual because DH is back at work. At least you’ve given me hope that it’s a temporary thing and I’m not permanently broken.
