Well - I give it to my dog for epilepsy if that's any help

I'm not sure if it works because his seizures are irregular but I'll try anything, just in case. However when he was mid-seizure last time, I gave him a drop of CBD and he came round much calmer and peacefully than usual. HTH

I’ve been taking it for Fibromyalgia for about 3 weeks now -
with no noticeable difference whatsoever. Very disappointing.

VLCos · 18/11/2017 21:25

@ah that is disappointing would it take time to help ? Most things I’ve read say it’s quite instant ?

I give it to my DS for seizures and inflammation but have been underwhelmed with the results so far. I’m going to give it a bit longer though. If you join the website Realm of Caring and put in your info, it will work out dosing and what strength you should buy.

TheHobbitMum · 18/11/2017 21:52

Yep I use it for my Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia mainly (also have ibs, migraines, Reynaulds, sjorgens) and love it. I don't need high strength opioid pain relief when taking the oil. It's worth every penny to me and recommend it to everyone to try. There are many different strains and strengths (as well as "fake" & v. Weak oils to be careful off) so don't give up if one doesn't work for you. There is a great Facebook group that is full of helpful, knowledgeable people. It's not an advertising group so noone is pushing their product x

TheHobbitMum · 18/11/2017 21:53

The FB group is the CBD consumer group UK/EU if anyone is interested in having a look

VLCos · 18/11/2017 22:18

Thanks for the info I’ll check it out. I suppose the one I got in Holland and Barrett will be rubbish 😂

I have heard some positive things about the H&B one, it's very weak but others have used it ok :)

VLCos · 19/11/2017 08:42

So it might be a good starting point then I’ve requested to join that group for more information thank you

@TheHobbitMum I checked out the FB group(s) you mentioned
and took the plunge and bought some CB oil.
And for the first time in years I’ve been pain free.
I can’t thank you enough. Flowers

TheHobbitMum · 23/11/2017 11:32

I am so pleased! It's an amazing oil and cannot recommend it enough :)

Ansumpasty · 23/11/2017 13:11

hobbitmum I'm using it for my IBS and yet to notice any improvement? It seemed to work at first must must have been coincidence. It's been 2 weeks. How long did it take for you to notice a difference?
I'm taking Endoca 3%, 2 drops, 3 times a day

TheHobbitMum · 23/11/2017 13:23

I noticed a difference immediately (I also have ibs) but I use CBD brothers Blue oil. There are different strains and strengths within cbd so I'd suggest posting on the CBD Consumers Facebook group as they are really knowledgeable and will know the best product for IBS (I use mainly for Rheumatoid Arthritis). It could be the product you've tried isn't the right one for you? I've know lots of people get immense help with IBS from CBD so don't give up yet :)

Ansumpasty · 23/11/2017 13:50

Lovely, thanks. I'm on the CBD users uk group so will try the one you suggested :)

Pixiedust1973 · 26/11/2017 01:50

I have used CBD Brothers. I found their blue hemp oil completely ineffective so I emailed them & they very kindly refunded me & sent me some purple oil for free to try. This does help a bit, but only as an extra & not standalone as id hoped. Its quite expensive so would cost me a fortune to use just that & nothing else. Im thinking of trying their white oil at some stage!

janeyjones1 · 13/09/2018 10:46

I use CBD every day and it has literally turned my life around. I had chronic low mood due to peri menopause and also chronic pain caused by years of stress. I am now pain free and find my mood is not only level but good most of the time :)

Callum04 · 15/11/2018 11:10

Hi,
With regards to cbd oil I use earthcbd highly recommend.

Philyphil101 · 22/11/2018 17:46

I've been using George Botanicals Peppermint flavoured 5% for PTSD and anxiety. Helped amazingly although it did take a few weeks to have any effect. I also got a 20% discount on it using discount code PEPP20 - www.georgebotanicals.com Grin
