Bleeding 2 days after sex

I had (quite rough) sex on Wednesday. Since yesterday have had very light red bleeding, only a little. Has this happened to anyone else? My period isn’t due for another 2 weeks or so.

Bleeding after intercourse is a symptom that needs to be checked.

Are you up to date with smear tests? Polyps is another common cause.

Yes I’m going to get checked out but usually if I’ve ever bled after sex it was straight after, not 2 days later iyswim so I wondered if it was caused by something else.

I would think 2 days later is unrelated but would monitor it and see if it happens again.
You are mid cycle and that can also cause a little bleed

So if you are mid cycle and you have sex it can make you bleed?

No, but some women have a small hormonal bleed midcycle.
If you have an erosion, that can be more likely to bleed mid cycle, also. See how you go
