A fatty liver. I never even knew a liver could be fatty but there you go.
Does anyone know of any magic cures for my fatty deposits??

Me too. Main thing I was told was to lose weight and it would improve a lot

Yes, the main treatment is weight loss, increased exercise and reduced alcohol. Basically you want to take out anything that might damage your liver. So though alcohol isn’t a cause of fatty liver, it can challenge an already damaged liver. I have autoimmune liver & bile duct disease and l hardly drink these days. It’s no great loss as l prefer being as well as possible. I have medication too of course. There’s a liver diseases forum under the HealthUnlocked umbrella. It’s run by the British Liver Trust and has quite a lot of people with NAFLD.

Had an abdominal ultrasound after some right hand pain and irregular heavy bleeding

Not pain in my right hand. Pain on the right hand side of my body. Under my ribs mainly and round ovary kind of area

You don’t drink and you’re losing excess weight. Sounds like you will soon sort that fatty liver out.
